After several beach front resort properties by Fusion, Serenity Holdings decided in 2015 to have a city hotel with the services and facilities like any other Fusion. In the center of District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, an existing office building was transformed to the first city Fusion model.
With Fusion, spa and health is included in their offers. To accommodate this service as most convenient for the guest, on each floor a spa treatment room was created. A gym facility and healthy bistro on the ground floors made this the standard for the city Fusion.
As the structure was existing and the facade couldn’t change, the focus was in the rooms. This needed to be outstanding, with all the competitions there is the city. To be bold in the design, the ceiling were pitched to give a different feeling from the standard hotels rooms. As well the material use in and outside the rooms, gives this property a more unique design.
All the Fusion as that moment have beautiful beach bars and views to the ocean, we created for this Fusion Suites Saigon an rooftop bar, which had a wonderful view over the skyline of Saigon.
This design is done by the principle of Orange Design studio, who worked on this project at that moment as Design Manger of Serenity Holding. This is the former Fusion Hotel group, who is also the owner of this property.
